TikTok marketing for hotels

I often see hotels missing the mark on TikTok.
They create an account… and then leave it inactive. Or they post overly polished, corporate-style videos with staged smiles that simply don’t connect.
Even more importantly, many fail to engage with user-generated content; the very thing that can build trust and visibility fastest.
TikTok marketing needs someone who understands trends, knows what captures attention and can create content that actually resonates.
From my experience, TikTok’s promotional power is huge right now. Compared to Instagram, organic reach is stronger and content has a far better chance of going viral.
As a side project, I run a TikTok account focused on bucket list hotels. Over the past year, it has generated 1.6 million post views, 8.3K shares, 9K profile views, 49K likes and 1K comments. It has taught me a lot about what works.
I’ve also been managing a TikTok account for a UK-based hotel client, where we’ve seen impressive results. For example, a recent carousel announcing the hotel’s new wedding licence achieved 154K+ views, 2K saves and a wave of enquiries and bookings (95% driven by social).
There’s a real opportunity here for hotels that are willing to approach TikTok properly. That’s why I’m launching a six-month TikTok starter package designed specifically for hotels, which includes:
📱 Month 1
• TikTok strategy
• Reel & graphic template design
• On-site content capture and video editing
📱 Months 2–6
• Content creation and scheduling (minmum 3 posts per week)
• Daily community management
• Monitoring and engaging with user-generated content
• Monthly performance reports
📱 After 6 months
• Full handover and training so your team can take over
• Or the option for ongoing management if preferred
